BTS / BGA joint meeting: What do we want from a GBR? Geotechnical baseline reports or ground reference conditions are increasingly being used in tunnelling contracts in the UK to allocate ground risk and ensure compliance with current industry best practice and perhaps more critically, insurers recommendations. What do clients, designers and contractors expect from a GBR and how do they envisage the document will be used before, during and after construction? The aim of the meeting is to discuss the current status of the use of these documents and to learn from the practical experiences of others. Following short presentations, an active debate is envisaged and the audience will be encouraged to participate and share their own experiences. For further information click here
