BTSYM Site visits

The BTSYM organises regular site visits

Visit to historic WW1 Battle Sites and Tunnels

After scheduling conflicts last summer, the BTSYM is again organising a trip to the Somme in France to visit famous battle sites and explore tunnels used in underground warfare.

The trip will be supported by several members of the Durand Group who presented on this topic at a BTSYM evening meeting last year. (Watch their talk here on our Youtube channel: https://youtu.be/kkMIZmunMjI). We are targeting the weekend of September 6th to 8th. The final date might vary as a result to changes in Durand’s schedule and we are also considering an extended/more relaxed trip. Please register your interest through the link below if you would like to attend. We hope to have a mix of BTS and BTSYM members.

When: Friday 6th Sep. to Sunday 8th (core) possible extension including Thursday or Monday subject to interest.
