We may collect the following information:

  • Name, Employer and job title
  • Membership No and membership of the Committee, Sub-committees and Working Groups
  • Contact information including address, phone number and email address
  • Other information relevant to bookings and / or customer surveys

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information for the following reasons:

  • To enable the delivery of events, training or goods purchased through this website
  • For pursuit of payment for goods or services purchased through this website
  • To provide information on membership of the Committee, Sub-Committees, Working Groups, etc…

For these reasons, the information is passed on to those responsible for the delivery of the relevant products and / or services, and those responsible for obtaining payment.

Data relating to courses attended may be stored in perpetuity.

We may also, from time to time, provide information on upcoming events via the email address provided, unless you have requested that you do not receive this information.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable equipment and processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We will share your details with The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) for the purposes of Membership Applications and renewals, and for Invoicing and Payment purposes. We will not share your details with Thomas Telford Limited (TTL).

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable.
